Maple sugar is an excellent replacement to refined white sugar, as it is rich in minerals and antioxidants.
Because of its dynamic sweet caramel and nutty flavour you can kick up any dish using a smaller amount than other sugars.

Sharing Maple Syrup Throughout The Generations
Sand Hills Maple Products has been producing Maple Syrup in their current location since 2003.
John Wagler grew up at a neighbouring farm where he made Maple Syrup with his Dad Norman. But that’s not where it started… John’s Grandfather Amos was the first to produce maple syrup in their family lineage, making John the 3rd generation.
Together, John & his wife Jeneve are passing their experience & wisdom of maple syrup to the next generations.
With 6 children, and 9 grandchildren the legacy of maple syrup and other maple delights are bound to carry on.
They love being back in the bush and enjoying time with all of the friends & family that come to visit during cooking time.

Getting to know where your syrup comes from is a fun & tasty experience.
Maple Weekend is always the first Saturday in April and it’s a great time for everyone, young and old, to come back to our bush and learn about Maple Syrup.
On Maple Weekend we take you through the entire process. From tree to table, you will learn how the sap is transferred from the tree to the cooking pan, along with the cooking process of Maple Syrup.
It’s a great family outing, especially if you enjoy sweet treats!
